LIT LARVAE

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the latest Lit Larvae program! Building on the success of their Darwin pilot program in 2022, we are eager to introduce our community to this fantastic creative design workshop. 🎉

Lit Larvae, which translates to “exciting young bees,” is an eight-week workshop that focuses on creative design for individuals aged 13 to 20 who identify as LGBQTIA+, gender non-conforming, or questioning 🌈 🧵🖌️.

The program offers mentorship from local queer arts practitioners and teaches valuable skills in design, costume making, event production, and textile art.

Our progressive weekly program is designed to build on each week’s lessons, culminating in a mid-year celebration. While we encourage attendance for the full eight weeks, we understand that flexibility may be necessary. Snacks will be provided throughout the program.
