50 Years of Casuarina Square

Join Casuarina Square as we celebrate our 50th Birthday over an event-filled 50 days.

Since opening in 1973, Casuarina Square has been the hub for everything, shopping, dining, community and events in Darwin and surrounding areas. It has been a meeting place, a one-stop shop, a multi-destination dining experience, a much-needed reprieve from the Darwin heat and much more for over five generations of Darwin locals and tourists.

Casuarina Square was built for the community by the community and so we believe it is only right to celebrate this momentous occasion with the people who made it possible, our customers.

From March 25 to May 12, Casuarina Square is going back in time to celebrate every decade before concluding with a massive Birthday party on Friday, May 12 with an incredible musical performance by a surprise Australian dance music group!
